I always meant to finish off blogging the last trip to Ireland and Scotland, giving you every last gory detail of what we experienced on the Kintyre Peninsula at Macrihanish, and our last week on the Isle of Islay (eye-la). Somehow it just never happened, and although I sat down many times with my notes and photographs, nothing was coming together. Now let’s be honest, I’m not writing the Great Gatsby here, but words typically just flow out whenever I sit at the keyboard, so it was weird for that not to happen. However, somehow reinvigorated with the arrival of Fall and the anticipation of our next adventure abroad, I am back at it and will use the last two episodes from last Spring on the “Places I Haven’t Been in Scotland Tour” to get me rolling once again. A little longer than you are used to, I am combining days at Macrihanish and on Islay, rather than do the shorter daily blow by blow……….upcoming……..we are off to Morocco for the month of November……..round trip…..Casablanca, Tangier, Agadir, Erg Chigaga (desert), Atlas Mountains, Marrakech, Home…….golfing in most places……should be a blast.
