I know it might sound strange to some of you, that this world traveller has never been to Whistler, winter or summer, but that is the truth………been to many other BC hotspots to ski, bike, hike, golf, and just generally cause trouble, but somehow Whistler was missed along the way. However, with Sam and Maddy moving to Squamish from Lake Country earlier this year, and Thanksgiving approaching, the time was right to make plans for TG dinner with them at the new pad, and for Jutta and I to get in some late season golf in the mountains. The itinerary looks like this…….land in Van, grab a car, and immediately head to Furry Creek GC for a round on the way to Squamish…….overnight with S&M (that’s Sam and Maddy, not the other thing)…….off to Whistler……..play Nicklaus North, sleep, play Big Sky GC in Pemberton, sleep, play Chateau Fairmont…….back to Squamish, sleep……big hike for the girls up Sea to Sky Gondola trail, sleep…….TG dinner, sleep……..HOME.
I WILL PROVIDE TRIP DETAILS SHORTLY, BUT REALLY JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE MY WORDPRESS SITE EDITS WERE WORKING BEFORE HEADING OFF TO SPAIN/MOROCCO WITH THE GOATS ON ANOTHER ADVENTURE……..JUTTA WILL LET ME KNOW IF THIS ARRIVES IN HER INBOX, BUT IF YOU COULD DROP ME A QUICK “GOT IT”, THAT WOULD BE GREAT. “SALUD”
