What to Do

Not much has changed since this morning except out hotel room looks a little more lived in, and the storm outside has subsided a little. We went out for dinner tonight………to Plan B……..home made chili over baked potatoes with a lovely Cedar Creek Merlot……beats the hell out of that crap we ate last night and has been percolating in my stomach all day. The plan is to get our ass outta here tomorrow, thinking that the first few hours may be difficult, but will progressively get better as we head east. Hwy 1 is closed at the Saskatchewan border as we speak, but that should be opening up soon…….the best thing that could happen is if we get into a steadily moving convoy and make our way out of this storm which appears to be stuck right on top of us. The forecast calls for a sunny but cold day…….WTF……we’ll see what happens. I do have a few pairs of shorts on board (never worn yet) but as soon as we break through this storm and get above zero, there will be a picture…….I guarantee it!
